Assam Direct Recruitment 32659 posts - Eligibility, Process, How to prepare for the Exams?

As a part of the 1 lakh job opportunities for the Youth of Assam, the Assam Direct Recruitment Commission has announced 32689 vacancies under different departments of the Govt of Assam. The Assam Government has provided a phenomenal opportunity to the aspirants to join and serve for Assam State welfare. The authorities have announced that the upcoming vacancy will be released soon on September 2023. Candidates who are interested can read this article:

32689 Vacancies of Various Departments: 

Eligibility:

  1. The candidate must be a citizen of India and apart from these the individual should be an Assamese permanent resident.
  2. Along with the application form, a PRC/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued in Assam to the candidate for educational purposes/Voter ID card of the candidate or his/her parents would be accepted as proof of domicile.

 

Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 40 years old as of 1st January 2023.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit can be relaxed:

  • By 5 years for SC/ST applicants
  • By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
  • By 10 years for applicants with disabilities

 

Grade 3

Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examinations. (Some specific posts need candidates to be class 12th passed from science stream.)

Grade 4

Educational Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualification higher than maximum qualification are not eligible to apply for this vacancy.

 

Exam Process:

1. Bachelor’s Degree Level:

The commission will organize separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.

  • Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Skill
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Economics / Statistics / Mathematics
  • Bachelor’s Degree

 

Stage 1 

Written Exam: The candidates that have applied for the graduate level posts will have to appear in a written test in the 1st phase of recruitment process. The details of the written test are as mentioned below:

Type of exam: Written Examination

Mode of exam: Offline

Type of questions: Objective Multiple-Choice Type Questions (MCQs)

Maximum marks: 175 Marks

Duration of exam: Three Hours (180 Minutes)

Stage 2

Skill Test: The candidates applied for the graduate level posts will have to appear following category of test as the second stage of the selection process.

  • Type of exam: Computer Test or Other Test or Interview
  • Maximum marks: 25 Marks

 

2. Class 12th Level:

The commission will organize separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.

  • Higher Secondary of equivalent examination passed.
  • Higher Secondary of equivalent examination passed with computer skill.
  • Higher Secondary of equivalent examination passed in science.

 

Stage 1 

Written Exam: The candidates applied for the Class 12th level posts will have to appear in a written test in the 1st phase of the recruitment process. The details of the written test are as mentioned below.

The commission will conduct separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.

  • High School Leaving Certificate (Class 10th) of equivalent examination passed.
  • High School Leaving Certificate (Class 10th) of equivalent examination passed with Driving License.
